Popular Rochester Fine Dining Restaurant Moving to New Location
Casablanca has been part of Rochester since 2015, and now they are changing up the scene a bit with a new location, and a twist to the ambiance.
For those of you that haven't been to the romantic, quaint little restaurant, you can expect stellar service, table visits from the owner/chef and one-of-a-kind meals.
Owner/chef Youness Bojji who was born in Morocco and spent the majority of his childhood in France and Spain had acquired a knack for creating his version of "historical cuisine." And he brings that creativity to Rochester everyday at Casablanca.
The restaurant is currently located in the Northgate Shopping Center, and they are moving to the old Johnny Mango's Building in the Hy-Vee Barlow Plaza. While renovations are happening at the new place, Casablanca will remain open at their current location.
When I spoke with owner Bojii, he said the new, larger location will have a piano bar and many new amenities, including a private VIP "mobster" table, located in the middle of the "chaos" alongside the chef in the kitchen. He's also anticipating a full bar.
Bojii is hopeful for a grand opening before New Year's Eve. Follow their Facebook page to stay updated.
