According to reports, Christmas Eve has been made a federal holiday. President Trump signed the executive order on Friday, making the 2020 holiday official.

According to the reports, Federal Government and executive departments and agencies shall be closed on Christmas Eve. The order does make exceptions, however, for heads of agencies and executive departments to keep parts of their operations open if they deem it necessary.

The news makes it the third year in a row that President Trump has signed an executive order for this holiday, which gives federal employees a paid day-off the day before Christmas.
