Rochester Charter School Reports Vandalism, Burglary
Rochester, MN (KROC AM News) - A Rochester charter school has apparently been the target of vandals during the last several days.
The Rochester Beacon Academy contacted the police department Thursday to report a break-in at the school. It apparently happened between Tuesday and Thursday.
The report indicates the intruders broke some windows, dumped soda pop. water and plants on the floor and stole some radios. Graffiti was also found.
The school also reported two earlier incidents involving windows that had been broken by rocks. An initial report listed damage at $2,000.
The charter school is located in the former Minnesota School of Business building along Pennington Dr. NW.
