Deserving Rochester Dad Receives Ultimate Father’s Day Gift

This Father’s Day, we teamed up with GLK Orthodontics to give one incredible dad the ultimate gift: a powerful, confident smile makeover! After all, dads do a lot, from fixing things and giving the best advice, to leading by example and always putting their families first.

We invited you to nominate a deserving dad, grandpa, or even yourself to win a complete orthodontic transformation from the experts at GLK Orthodontics. And you didn’t hold back! The stories we received were heartwarming, inspiring, and downright amazing.

But one nomination truly stood out.

And the winner is… Bryan Ehni of Rochester!

Bryan was nominated by his wife, Chelse, who had nothing but love and admiration for the father of their two kids, and for good reason.

“Bryan is a wonderful father of two and an incredible husband,” Chelse shared. “He has a heart of service and was an Army Ranger from 2008 to 2012.”

During his service, Bryan’s life took an unexpected and terrifying turn. “While serving, he was diagnosed with stage IV cancer and miraculously recovered after spending nearly 6 months in the hospital,” Chelse wrote.

Thankfully, Bryan has now been in remission for more than a decade — and he hasn’t stopped giving back.

He continues to serve others through a nonprofit he co-founded called Honor Bound Veterans, which is dedicated to preventing veteran suicide and supporting those who’ve served our country.

“Bryan is well deserving of an amazing smile,” Chelse added. And we couldn’t agree more.

Bryan, thank you for your service, your resilience, and your continued commitment to helping others. We can’t wait to see that new smile shine!
