Rochester Fire Department Extinguishes Overnight House Fire
Rochester, MN (KROC-AM News) - The Rochester Fire Department responded to an overnight house fire late Sunday night in Southeast Rochester.

According to a news release from the Rochester Fire Department, crews were dispatched to 3015 Marion Road SE at 11:48 pm Sunday to a report of a structure fire. Before arriving on the scene, crews were told by responding police officers that the home was fully engulfed in flames.
When the first fire crew arrived at the home; it was fully engulfed with flames and it was deemed unsafe to enter. RFD then deployed multiple hose lines to begin putting out the fire. Officials said it took about one hour before a bulk of the flames were extinguished.
The home was completely lost during the fire, and early indications say that the home appeared to be abandoned, but RFD can’t fully confirm that it is. The cause of the fire is still under investigation.
