Food, Drinks, & Live Music: Rochester Honkers Launch Landing Zone

This summer marks the end of an era for local baseball fans, back in March, KROC News reported the Rochester Honkers were opting out of their lease at Mayo Field at the conclusion of the upcoming season

Team management says they want the team to remain in Rochester but the Honkers need a new home. To make the most of its final season at Mayo Field, the team has unveiled The Landing Zone, a brand-new pregame destination designed to turn every remaining home game into the ultimate tailgate party.

Rochester Honkers Launch Landing Zone Tailgate Parties

Located right outside the stadium gates, The Landing Zone is the new go-to spot for fans to gather before the first pitch.

Local Food Trucks: Come hungry because there will be a rotating lineup of local eats available before every game.
Pregame Drinks: Fans will be able to grab a cold beverage and catch up with friends before heading to their seats.
Live Music: Local artists are lined up to perform before the majority of home games this season.

When Does The Landing Zone Open?

The Landing Zone will be open one hour before every home game's first pitch, giving you plenty of time to eat, drink, listen to music before the game.

As the team prepares for one more unforgettable season at Mayo Field, they have one simple message for the community: "You bring the flock, we’ll bring the fun."
