The reason we were talking about names is the story behind Shaquille O'neal's name. It too is a heartwarming story. Shaq says his family is made up of 'ordinary' names, like Brian and Mike, so he asked his Mom where Shaquille came from. She told him that her family was very religious and basically disowned her when she got pregnant with him out of wedlock. She named him Shaquille Rashaun O'Neal, Shaquille Rashaun translates to "Little Warrior", because she knew every day she would fight for him and they would battle together.
