Rochester, MN (KROC AM News) - A Rochester man was arrested on a felony assault charge Thursday night after he reportedly threatened a person by holding a knife to the victim’s throat for a few minutes. 

Police were called to Meadow Park Apts. around 10:30 PM and discovered the victim had a small cut on his neck.

The victim told police the suspect was apparently intoxicated and was trying to start fights with some other people. The suspect then confronted the 36-year-old victim.

Officers located the suspect and arrested him after it was discovered he had a knife in one of his pockets.

The man was identified as 26-year-old Yol Chadack, who is apparently homeless.
