Rochester Man Arrested for Choking Girlfriend
Rochester police arrested a man yesterday after he attacked his girlfriend and choked her with a telephone cord.
Police Captain John Sherwin says the two got into an argument and 56 year old Max Holt began choking the 46 year old woman until she nearly blacked out. He then threatened her with a knife.
The woman was able to get away and contact police.
Holt is expected to face felony assault and other charges.
