Rochester, MN (KROC-AM News) - A tip provided to the Rochester Police by the Internet Crimes Against Children Task Force has led to child pornography charges against a 32-year-old Rochester man.

A criminal complaint filed in Olmsted County Court today charges Bryan Borland with 10 counts of possession of child pornography. The criminal complaint says the tip from the Task Force was received by the police department on Tuesday and the IP address listed in the tip was traced to a business in northeast Rochester where Borland worked and an email address was linked to a phone number belonging to Borland.

On Wednesday, an investigator visited the business and interviewed Borland, who admitted being part of a group chat that shared pornographic photos and some depicted children. The complaint says a search of the man's residence led to the discovery of folders containing over 100 pornographic photos, most showing males who appeared to be under the age of 18. The charges allege that at least one of the images was of a child who appeared to be 8 to 10-years-old.

Borland was arraigned on the charges this morning. He was ordered back to court for an initial hearing on September 1st.
