2nd Street Parking Ramp in Downtown Rochester Closed this Weekend
Every time the weather starts to get nice, downtown Rochester, MN will close a parking ramp here and there for a weekend to get the place cleaned up. Hey, our nasty cars were parking there all winter long, it needs to happen.
This weekend, a busy downtown ramp is going to close for just that. So if you work downtown on the weekends, like to hit up local spots downtown, or maybe you live downtown, this will be important.

That's the parking ramp behind Crave.
The entrances to the parking ramp will close at 2 PM on Friday the 17th. Cars that are parked in the ramp will need to be removed by 6 PM on the 17th or your car will be towed at your expense.
The ramp will remain closed all weekend long and re-open on Monday, April 20th at 5 AM.
What If You Have a Monthly Parking Pass for the 2nd Street Ramp
If you're someone who has a monthly pass to park in the 2nd St. ramp, no worries, there will be spots for you at other ramps downtown for the weekend.
There are plenty of other parking options near the 2nd St. ramp, so hopefully this doesn't totally throw a wrench in your plans. The nearest parking options would be the Zumbro Market Lot (but this can fill up quickly in the evenings), the 1st St. ramp, and the Civic Center ramp.
