I reached out to Acme Tools to see if this means that they plan to open a Rochester location but I have yet to hear back. I would assume that would be the reason for purchasing this building, though.

If Acme Tools does come to Rochester, that would be one of many hardware companies in town. You've got Ace, Home Depot, Menards, Lowes, Northern Tool + Equipment, Tractor Supply... did I miss any?

Acme Tool is Also Expanding into Eagan, MN

Acme Tool could also be moving into a large building in Eagan that was supposed to be an Amazon grocery store. Bring Me the News writes that the idea has been proposed.

If Acme opens in both Eagan and Rochester that will be their fourth and fifth locations in Minnesota. Right now, their stores are in Duluth, Bemidji, and Plymouth.
