Rochester Pools and Beaches Closing Dates Announced

The kids are starting school soon, and summer is coming to an end, which is crazy. It feels like it just started! I don't know about you, but I'm not ready for cold weather yet.

With all that being said, though, this does mean the time to close the Rochester, MN pools, beaches, and splash pad is coming up.

When Rochester, MN Pools Will Close

The Soldier's Field Aquatic Center is closing super early, this Sunday, August 24th, already. At least, I think it's early. We still have plenty of hot days ahead.

As for the Silver Lake Pool, construction is still happening, according to a press release from the City of Rochester Parks and Recreation Department. They are still expecting the pool to open for next summer, though.

When the Rochester, MN Splash Pad Will Close

The Lincolnshire Splash Pad will be open through Labor Day, Monday, September 1st. So if Labor Day weekend ends up being super hot, you'll still be able to cool down there.

When the Rochester, MN Beaches Will Close

Both Cascade Lake Beach and Foster Arend Beach will also be open through Labor Day, Monday, September 1st.

I would imagine is Labor Day weekend is hot, the splash pad and both beaches will be plenty busy!

When the Kasson, MN Pool Will Close

If you were hoping to hit up the Kasson Aquatic Center one more time this summer, sadly, they also closed really early, on Sunday, August 17th.

I just can't believe it's already that time of year! I'm not ready. What about you?
