There's a big celebration coming up in Rochester, Minnesota soon. It's Rochester Pride! A celebration and commemoration of the LGBTQ+ community. Plus it's just a really fun event you won't want to miss.

Rochester Pride is coming up on Saturday, May 20th. It'll be at Soldier's Field starting at noon and going until 5 PM.

Entertainment at Rochester Pride 2023

There will be plenty of local, live entertainment at Rochester Pride this year. Here's who you can expect to see:

Noon - Fires of Denmark (a synth dance punk project founded by a Rochester native)

1 PM - Audrey Robinson (a Rochester-based folk punk singer-songwriter who's also a manager at Little Thistle)

2 PM - Soul Train (a Rochester-based soul and funk band)

3 PM - 2 Kings and a Queen (a Rochester-based drag troupe)

4 PM - Loud Mouth Brass (a Rochester-based brass band)

Cheerful gay pride and lgbt festival

There are also plenty of events happening the week of Rochester Pride around town.

Tuesday, May 16th - 

Beers for Queers at Little Thistle (including the release of their newest beer, Marsha P Hopson) - 7-9 PM

Wednesday, May 17th - 

Pride Yoga at The Deck on 4th & Zumbro (registration is encouraged) - 7-8:30 PM

Thursday, May 18th - 

'Paddles for Pride', an all-ages pickleball event at Chip Shots (registration is required) - 1-4 PM

Friday, May 19th - 

Taste the Rainbow Pride Kickoff Party at LC's Venue ($7 cover charge) - 9 PM-1 AM

Saturday, May 20th - 

Official Rochester Pride celebration! At Soldier's Field with live entertainment, vendors, and more - Noon-5 PM

After Pride Party for Teens at Old School Entertainment Co. ($10-$15 cover charge) - 5-10 PM

Rochester Pride After Party at Little Thistle (all ages) - 7 PM

Sunday, May 21st - 

Pancakes for Pride at Peace United Church of Christ - 8:30 AM

Drag Brunch w/ the Rochester Girls at Crave (tickets are required) - 10 AM-1 PM

Celebrating Rochester Pride Burlesque Show at Thesis (tickets are required) - 7-10 PM
