How a Rochester Business is Helping Victims of the Annunciation Shooting
During the first week of school, a terrible shooting took place at Annunciation Catholic School in Minneapolis, Minnesota, on Wednesday, August 27th, 2025.
Two children died, and many others, students and adults, were injured. Saying it was a sad and tragic day just feels like an understatement.
A lot of GoFundMe fundraisers have been set up for the families of the two kids who died and for the injured victims as they embark on their road to recovery. As of writing this story, more than $4.5 million has been raised across all of the verified GoFundMe fundraisers, which is incredible.
Even for those who weren't physically injured during the attack, it will be a long road to recovery mentally for them as well.

Rochester, MN Papa Murphy's Raising Money for Annunciation Shooting Victims
Here in Rochester, there's a locally owned business that's going to be doing a special one-day fundraiser to help the victims of this tragedy.
Papa Murphy's in town is locally owned by Nic and Joel Meyer, and they've decided to set up this donation event.
On Wednesday, September 17th, when you place an order at one of our Rochester Papa Murphy's online and use the code HOPE at checkout, 50% of the proceeds will be given to the Annunciation Catholic School and Church.
Remember, it's online orders only, and you have to use the code HOPE.
Other Ways to Help Victims of the Annunciation Catholic School Shooting
As I mentioned earlier, there are also many verified GoFundMe fundraisers that you can donate to. Some of them are specific to the victim and their families, others are for the school and church as a whole.
All of the verified fundraisers can be found on GoFundMe's website.
