Rochester Teens Attack Man, Take His Phone and Shoes

Rochester, MN (KROC-AM News) - Three Rochester teenagers were arrested as suspects in an assault - and the theft of the victim’s shoes.

The 19-year-old was sitting in a car with a friend in the 1300 block of 5th Ave SE Saturday afternoon when the door suddenly opened and he was assaulted.

The victim says the teens took his phone and removed his shoes and then fled on foot. Police found the suspects a short while later at the Meadow Park Apartments complex. After they were identified by the victim, the three were taken into custody.

Two of the teens are 15-years-old and the third is 16. Police say they knew the victim.
