Rochester Woman Says She Was Assaulted By Former Boyfriend

Rochester, MN ( KROC AM News) - Rochester police received a call early Thursday from the neighbor of a woman who reported a man had just thrown her over his shoulder, forced her into a car and then drove off.

The caller said the two had been arguing on and off during most of Wednesday.

Officers later learned the two had returned to the woman’s residence and she told them she had recently ended her relationship with 21-year-old Athai Muon, who was still there. The woman said Muon had driven her to the residence of another woman where she was assaulted. She said Muon had also assaulted her. He was expected to face domestic assault and other charges.
