Rochesterfest Announces Cancelation for Thursday
Rochesterfest organizers have made a tough decision and have decided to cancel the festivities for today, Thursday, June 26th. They had to cancel last night's performances and activities as well.
Why is Rochesterfest Canceled?
The weather just isn't cooperating with Rochesterfest!
With the rain yesterday, the organizers decided to end the party at Soldier's Field early. And then today we have a threat of severe weather, especially around 2 and 3 PM, so they made the desicion to not host anything today.
I'm sure it's a hard decision to make, but it's the best decision to keep everyone safe and to prevent a chaotic tear-down if the weather gets bad enough.
Is Rochesterfest On for Friday?
Rochesterfest will be back on for tomorrow, though, and the weather looks like it should cooperate.

The forecast right now says cloudy skies with a high of 75, so very comfortable for a summer day. There's also only a 16% chance of rain according to my Weather Channel app, so we should stay dry.
