80% of Minnesotans have a high speed internet connection. That's a little above the national average rate (77%) but that means 20% of Minnesotans don't which is a real  disadvantage. This is known as the digital divide and companies like AT&T are working address the issues the divide creates by getting everyone connected.

John Stankey, AT&T's CEO, said, "AT&T is investing in and expanding the reach of our broadband networks while also advocating for effective and sustainable public policies that help close this country’s digital divide.”
