Rochester’s Fuji Sushi Announces Opening Date

I wrote my first story about this restaurant at the end of 2017. They'd signed the lease way back then and thought they'd be open in about 6 months.

According to Kiger's Notebook (on Instagram), the lease has been signed by Yong Hao Liu. You may not know that name, but you do know the two locations of his restaurant, Ichi Tokyo! Both regularly get high ratings on Yelp and Trip Advisor.

Well, you know how it goes. Some things take longer than we thought. In fact, I thought maybe the deal was a bust, and we'd never see something else move into the building. Then, activity, action, and now, an opening date.

Fuji Sushi will open April 2nd, and, looking at their online menu, it looks like a tasty selection. Some high end and some middle-priced dishes. See the menu HERE.
