RPD busts suspected Milwaukee pimp

A suspected pimp and his prostitute were arrested in Rochester yesterday as part of a police undercover operation.

 An officer responded to an escort ad on the Backpage.com website and arranged to meet a woman at a local hotel.  The officer went into the woman’s room and she was arrested after offering him sex for $300.

Officers stationed outside spotted a man walk out of the room next to the woman’s.  The officers found the man had a significant amount of money.  When he asked if he could give the cash  “ to my girl “ he was arrested.   Charged today with promoting prostitution was 22 year old Jamel Walls-Jenkins. His conditional bail was set at $10,000.  At last check, the 21 year old woman had not been charged.  The two are from Milwaukee.
