Rochester police have arrested a 26 year old man as the suspect in a stabbing that happened around 9:30 Tuesday night outside an apartment in the 1900 block of 8 ½ street southeast.  A spokesman says the victim went to the apartment to visit his child. He was met outside by a male friend of the child’s mother and an altercation broke out. That’s when the 22 year old victim was stabbed twice in the back. A friend called 911 and then drove the victim to the hospital where he was treated and released.

The suspect was later apprehended at his residence and is expected to be charged with felony assault.
