RPD Makes Another Arrest in July 30 Shooting

Another person has been arrested in connection with last week’s shooting in a residential neighborhood

near the north Perkins restaurant.

Rochester police yesterday arrested 21 year old Charles Webster, who is the suspected driver of a car that took the other two suspects from the scene.

The first suspect who was arrested was 18 year old Elijah Golden, who remains in jail.  A warrant was issued this week for 17 year old Aries Candler, who police say was the person who shot a man during what was a drug-related robbery.  Police say after the shooting, a car drove up and Candler and Golden got in and it drove away.
