We have tons and tons of options when it comes to fast food joints around Minnesota. And all different kinds of food too! But easily one of the most popular fast food items is the classic burger.

Everyone is going to have different opinions on which fast food burger they like the best and for all different reasons, too.

But if we were to ask experts, what fast food burger do you think they would name as the best burger out of all of the fast food burgers?

What Makes a Great Fast Food Burger?

All Recipes talked to four different chefs to get their take. Before getting into which fast food burger is the best, we need to know what makes a great fast food burger.

They all agreed that a great fast food burger consists of:

fresh ingredients (This is especially true for something like lettuce. I don't want a floppy, sad piece of lettuce on my burger.)

a good bun-to-patty ratio

and "thoughtful construction"

The Best Fast Food Burger According to Chefs

With all of that in mind, the chefs weighed in on which fast food joint they think has the best burger and they all said the same two: In-n-Out, which we sadly don't have in Minnesota, and Shake Shack, which we DO have in Minnesota!

They all agreed that the ShackBurger from Shake Shack is one of the best fast food burgers around.

Good thing we have a few Shake Shacks in Minnesota!
