Snow May Affect Wednesday Morning Commute in SE Minnesota

La Crosse, WI (KROC AM News) -Motorists in southeast Minnesota are being advised the Wednesday morning commute could be messy - and slippery. The National Weather Service office in La Crosse has issued this advisory:

Light freezing rain, sleet, and snow are expected this morning. 1 to 3 inches of snow is expected through noon along with a light glaze of ice. The morning commute will likely be impacted.

Portions of north-central and northeast Iowa may also be impacted.

Light snow will continue this afternoon into tonight with another couple inches expected. There could be some impacts to travel, especially on any untreated roadways.
