Common Sense Media has found that our teens are spending close to nine hours a day with media. That's broken down into two-thirds of teens asked say they listen to music every day and 58% watching television daily. Less than 45% said they use social media daily. Half of the viewing time is for first-run programming, with the other half spent between time-delayed programming and DVDs. As far as gaming, no big surprise, boys spend an average of 56 minutes a day gaming -. I know my boys, that average seems kinda low - girls spend about seven minutes gaming. Girls make up, with more time spent on social media than boys.

One of my boys just wrapped up soccer and the other is starting basketball. My daughter spends her time thinking about boys. How active and engaged in school activities are your kids?
