Madeline Kingsbury was last seen alive when she dropped her kids off at daycare on the morning of March 31, 2023. Over the following two months, hundreds of volunteers and first responders searched areas across southern Minnesota for her. In June, her body was found by a deputy in Fillmore County. Her ex, Adam Fravel, was arrested and charged with murder a few days later.

A special event to honor Madeline, "Shine Bright for Maddi and Break the Silence on Domestic Violence," is happening this weekend.
