MN's Tapestry Coffee Named Best Independent Coffee Shop in the US

It's one thing to be named the best coffee shop in your city or your state. It's a whole other level and honor when you're named the best coffee shop in the entire COUNTRY!

A coffee shop in Minnesota just received the honor of the best independent coffee shop in the entire country. Now that's quite the bragging rights.

Minnesota Has the Best Independent Coffee Shop in the US

I think a great coffee shop has great drinks, obviously, but it also has to have friendly baristas and a cozy, welcoming atmosphere. And according to regulars at this particular coffee shop, that's what makes them great and ended up winning them this award.

They're called Tapestry Coffee and you can find them at their two locations in Lakeville.

The award comes from USA Today's 10Best, where a short list of places from around the US are selected for whatever category they're giving out the award for. This short list is put together by an expert panel. Then, the final rankings and top 10 are established by fan votes.

All 37 Minnesota Restaurants that Have Been Featured on the Food Network

Many Minnesota restaurants have been featured on the Food Network over the years. Some have closed now, but I checked out the Food Networks website, the Diners, Drive-Ins, and Dives website, and TVFoodMaps.com to find all of the Minnesota restaurants that have been featured on their channel in the past and found these 37 (in no particular order) that are still open.
