The New HBO ‘Beware the Slenderman’ Documentary Trailer Is Freaky!

I suggest you watch this one with the lights ON.

A documentary about the stabbing of a 12-year-old girl by a pair of young attackers in a small Wisconsin town because of a fictional character called "Slenderman" is due out next year.

Just watch it now and try and tell me you didn't get goosebumps:

Even for a case in which a girl gets stabbed nearly 20 times, it was particularly disturbing: young Payton Leutner was recovered bleeding out in the woods near a slumber party she had been attending back in 2014.

What's even sadder? Her attackers were two of her good friends. What could have possibly possessed a couple of innocent kids to suddenly turn psychopath without warning and leave their pal for dead in the middle of the night?

How about an urban legend-like monster called Slenderman.

HBO says their upcoming documentary about sorting through the aftermath of the shocking attack and attempt to make sense out of the crime will premiere January 23.
