The County Adult Detention Center was among the topics talked about during the Sheriff's visit on Wednesday on KROC AM. He mentioned that retiring Olmsted County Administrator Richard Devlin would like to lay down a path to successfully deal with the prisoner population before he leaves his post next fall.

Wednesday on Rochester's Good Morning, Olmsted County Sheriff Kevin Torgerson brought Captain Macy Tesmer, she's in charge of the Adult Detention, to explain the situation and what's going to have to happen down the road.

Architecturally, the Government Center building could not be added on to.  A new facility will have to be built sometime down the road.
