Yesterday I mentioned to my Facebook friends about the stress of my upcoming wedding. I just keep thinking I'm going to forget something. I leave in 3 weeks. With the help of my friends, I've put together the ultimate wedding list.

Besides the obvious dress, wedding shoes, and jewelry, what to bring with you for your big day!

  • First and most importantly, don't forget your fiance!

  • Mini steamer

I totally bought one of these yesterday after seeing the idea!! It's a destination wedding... BRILLIANT idea!

  • Tide-to-go Pen, chalk, and/or soda water

Melissa: "If anything gets on your dress (I had a friend who's flowers left pollen marks on her dress BEFORE the wedding) rubbed some chalk on there and it wasn't as noticeable."

My seamstress recommends soda water ESP if you plan on drinking wine!

  • Sewing Kit

I'm really NOT good at sewing, BUT I've heard it's def important to have one of these handy. A friend of mine ripped her dress hours before the ceremony. Fortunately that sewing kit saved her!

  • Safety Pins

Another recommendation from the seamstress for those "just in case" moments!

  • Handkerchief

Jenny: "A cloth handkerchief.. .wrap it around the bottom of your bouquet during the ceremony. If you cry; use that instead of Kleenex so you don't get white flakes on your pretty face."

  • Baby Powder

Michelle: "Doesn't matter the temp you will SWEAT!"

  • Oil blotting rice paper sheets

Diana: "Didn't even know what they were until my wedding day when my photographer used them to touch my makeup up. Ingenious."

  • Lotion and sunscreen

Kiana: "Sunscreen! My maid of honor was so burnt for our photos. It was a bummer."

It is still dry here in Minnesota, so regular lotion to make your skin look fresh is a MUST!
