There’s A New Floating Sauna Available To Book On Minnesota’s Scenic North Shore
Saunas are growing in popularity in recent years. In fact, just earlier this spring, The Duluth Great Sweat Together took place, where folks set a Guinness Book Of World Record for the most people taking a sauna at the same time in a city.
Sauna bathing has been shown to have a lot of health benefits. It can help with cardiovascular health, and weight management, and even help prevent dementia and Alzheimer's disease.
More saunas are opening up across the country, and quite a few new options are available in Northern Minnesota too.
Sisu and Löyly Nordic Sauna located in Grand Marais has been in the sauna and health spa business for a while, but they've recently shared exciting news. They are introducing a floating sauna that's available to book in Grand Marais. They announced the big news on social media in mid-September.
They began by doing some testing on the floating sauna while moored in the Grand Marais Harbor.
Sisu and Löyly Nordic Sauna will then go on to different locations where people can book sessions. They have an interested list you can sign up to be on. They'll then notify people of availabilities.
The sauna looks pretty fun! Check out how cool the stove is!
They recently shared a really cool photo of the Northern Lights on Monday night, September 18.
So what do you think? Are you ready to try a floating sauna? They concept isn't new, it's been done for years in Europe. The only other floating Sauna announced in the area was from Cedar & Stone Sauna in Duluth this last spring.
