We might take them for granted, but when a group of Irish comedians got together to try some genuine Minnesota snacks, well, let's just say their reactions were kinda funny.

A group of Irish comedians started something called the Try Channel on YouTube. And it's pretty much exactly what the name suggests: "...striving to bring you quality Irish comedy... by reacting to weird things on the Internet," it says.

And in one of their newest videos, they decided to try some authentic snacks from here in the Land of 10,000 Lakes and record their reactions. This isn't the first time the Try Channel delved into some genuine cuisine from the North Star State; back in 2019, the group also tried some of the most popular Minnesota craft beer (check out what they thought in the video below!)

This time, though, our Irish friends were sampling some genuine Minnesota snacks, sent to them from Minnesota's Largest Candy Store, which we know is located near Shakopee, just down Highway-169 in Jordan (about an hour and half northwest of Rochester.)

Check out their reactions to trying some genuine Minnesota candy-- what they call 'old school Minnesota snack staples,' including a Maple BUN Bar made by Pearsons Candy St. Paul. They also try the Twin Bing-- a round, chewy, cherry-flavored nougat coated with a mixture of chopped peanuts and chocolate. It's actually made by Palmer Candy Company in Sioux City, Iowa, though apparently for the video, that's close enough to Minnesota.

Other Minnesota snacks the Irish crew also tries in the video is a S'mores-flavored Twin Bing as well as Mini Donut Cream Soda, made by Liftbridge Brewing Company in Stillwater. Check out what they thought of these Minnesota snacks in the video below. Of course, Minnesota doesn't just produce snacks, right? Keep scrolling to see how many of these other odd products that were invented here you're familiar with!
