It's getting to the end of August, the Steele County Free Fair is over, and some schools in the area are already in session. The days are getting shorter, the nights cooler, and, it's my favorite time of year. With the coming of Fall, are the fun things to do throughout the season, and no Fall season is complete without a visit to a pumpkin patch and corn maze.

There are several pumpkin patches and corn mazes to choose from in our area of Heaven, AKA Southeastern Minnesota, and one of my favorites has to be Tweite's Family Farm and corn maze in Byron. They have so many activities set up for the family to enjoy. Corn maze, slides, play areas, and a food court for those snacks after getting out of the corn maze.

Tweites Family Farm Corn Maze 2019

This year's theme for the maze is "The Impossible Candy Corn 12 Acre Maze" which looks like lots of fun. I'm already planning my trip, and for good reason. This is also their last year, the statement on their website states:

2019 will be Tweite's Family Farms last Fall season. We want to express our most sincere gratitude for your visits and friendships over the last 31 years. It has been our pleasure to let our family be part of yours. Please come and join us for our final fall season.

My daughters really enjoyed going with friends and family and we tried to make it every year. Looks like this will be the last year we can go, and that makes me sad. I very much appreciate all of the work they put in to make this one of THE stops to make when planning out your Fall activities. Tweite's will open for their final season on September 21, 2019, and their last day is October 20, 2019.

Here are some photos of the farm they've posted over the years:
