Quick! You're running late for work! What's your excuse?

According to a recent Career Builder survey, the three most common excuses for being late for work are: sleeping through your alarm, bad weather and bad traffic.

25% of us are late for work at least once a month. 41% of employers have fired someone for it; 33% say it's not a big deal as long as it doesn't become a pattern; 16% say it doesn't matter as long as the person gets their work done.
