Severe thunderstorms will continue to pass through southeast Minnesota this evening and a tornado watch is in effect until midnight for our listening area.

The watch covers these counties in southeast Minnesota: Dodge, Fillmore, Mower, Olmsted, Wabasha, and Winona. Stay alert. Listen for a tornado siren. If you hear it, seek shelter immediately! You should also avoid unnecessary car trips this evening. You don’t want to be caught outside if a tornado comes. If it is safe to do so, bring in outdoor furniture and other items that could blow away.
