Rain and a wintry mix of precipitation are possible Saturday night as the temperature falls into the upper-20s. Highs are forecasted to reach the mid-30s on Sunday.

If temperatures do reach the mid-50s, it would be the warmest day in Rochester since December 15th when the city's official temperature was 64 degrees, which tied for the warmest December day on record.

The warm weather also produced the first tornado ever recorded in Minnesota in December. In fact, ten tornadoes were confirmed in southeast Minnesota as a result of what the National Weather Service called a Derecho storm event.
