Amazing Outdoor Festival In Minnesota Is Done For Good
One of my very first, outdoor festivals was Twin Cities Summer Jam in Minnesota. If you never had a chance to go, it was a 3-day festival jam-packed with bands, food, and a whole lot of people. Basically, it was awesome. You bring a lawn chair and just sit back, or stand...lots of people stand...and enjoy the shows. I had a chance to go in 2021 and unfortunately couldn't make it this past summer but I told myself I wasn't missing another one.
😭 Sadly, I missed my chance. I just saw some news break on Facebook about the event and I literally am crushed.
Huge Festival in Minnesota Just Announced They Are Done Forever
On Wednesday, Twin Cities Summer Jam announced the sad news on Facebook that they "are sad to see this event go away".
Summer Jam 2022 was our best year yet - we had sold out crowds and incredible support from fans, sponsors, vendors, and all partners. Thank you!
Coming off the high of an incredibly successful event, we received the unfortunate news that the land which once was home to TCSJ campgrounds was sold and the Shakopee planning commission approved a 19,000 seat amphitheater. With heavy construction planned in 2023 and the operations of the amphitheater slated to start in 2024, we have determined that Summer Jam will not be moving forward into 2023.
We want to thank you all for your support of Twin Cities Summer Jam. We are sad to see this event go away.
Rochester On Tap is the next big party in Minnesota
If you love beer, the next party you should be at is Rochester On Tap! It's just a few weeks away on October 15th in Rochester at the Mayo Civic Center and you'll have a chance to sample over 90 different beers. I'm not sure if Luke Bryan's beer will be there but it is on my list of things to do today to check. If you are looking to snap tickets, there are VIP opportunities and some special deals if you buy early at Seize The Deal.
