St Paul (KROC AM News) - Two more suspects have been charged with setting fires during the riots in the Twin Cities that broke out after the death of George Floyd.

One is charged with starting a fire at a St Paul school and the other is accused of helping torch a rental car business.

Charged in the school case is 19-year-old Mohamed Abdi of Maplewood. He and another person are accused of starting a fire at Gordon Parks High School that caused significant damage.

Also charged Tuesday was 31-year-old Matthew White of Minneapolis. He and two others are accused of setting fire to an Enterprise Rent-A-Car building in St. Paul. The building was destroyed. White’s sister Jessica was charged earlier in the case.

As in other recent criminal cases, federal investigators used surveillance video footage to identify the suspects.
