Empowering and Exciting Event Coming Back to Rochester, MN

A big, annual race and party is coming up soon in Rochester, Minnesota and you won't want to miss out on being a part of it!

I have emceed the event for the past few years and it's always so fun and also inspiring. Plus, the venue that we started using last year is pretty sweet if you ask me.

Run a 5k or 10k to Raise Money and Awareness for Ovarian Cancer

If you or someone you know has been impacted by ovarian cancer, this is something you should definitely sign up for. And if you are a lucky person who hasn't been impacted by it, you're also welcome to come join us!

It's time for... Unleash the SHE! (SHE stands for Strength, Health, and Empowerment)

Unleash the SHE is powered by Mayo Clinic each year and it's to support those who have been impacted by ovarian cancer, spread the word about ovarian cancer, and to raise money in support of the Minnesota Ovarian Cancer Alliance.

It's a very powerful event because you get to hear from ovarian cancer survivors and families who have lost a loved one. It can be emotional. But it's also a very fun event, too!

Unleash the SHE 2025 Details

Unleash the SHE will be on Saturday, April 26h, and for the second year, the race and party will be hosted at Little Thistle. It's such a great spot and that also means that the run is a great route too, taking you around Cascade Lake.

There are a few different race options: a 5k women's only race, a 5k co-ed race, and a women's only 10k race. I use the word 'race' loosely, it does not need to be competitive! Many people walk part of the course.

You'll hear from speakers during the event and then, after the races, you'll get some sweet swag, a free beer from Little Thistle, and there will be live music to really get the party going.

There's cool swag included in your race registration and there will be drawings for prizes at the end of the races.

Prices to register for the event go up on March 15th. We can't wait to see you there!
