Support the Fight Against Ovarian Cancer: Unleash the SHE is Back in Rochester

There's a big annual event right around the corner, back in Rochester, MN again. It's a really inspiring but also super fun event to be a part of. It's Unleash the SHE, a 5K and 10K race/event/party that is in support of the Minnesota Ovarian Cancer Alliance (MOCA).

MOCA has been helping with the fight against ovarian cancer for many years: early detection, treatment plans, and hopefully a cure one day.

A great way to help MOCA's cause is by being a part of Unleash the SHE. SHE, in Unleash the SHE, stands for Strength, Health, and Empowerment, which is exactly what we celebrate at this event.

I've been emceeing Unleash the SHE for the past few years, and I absolutely love it! I love seeing all of the support, hearing from Dr. Jamie Bakkum-Gamez (a gynecologic oncologist at Mayo Clinic, who is the presenting sponsor), and hearing from survivors.

It's also been amazing to see the event evolve and get bigger and better over the years. There are so many of you who come out to this event each year, and it's amazing to see.

Unleash the SHE Rochester, MN 2026 Details

This year's Unleash the SHE race is on Saturday, April 25th, 2026 at Little Thistle.

The race options include:

• Women's Only 5K
• Women's Only 10K
• Support the SHE 5K and 2-Mile (open to everyone)
• Kids 1K Run

Prices range from $46.77 up to $55.25 (including fees), depending on which race you sign up for. But HEADS UP: Prices go up after April 9th!

Registration closes on Thursday, April 23rd. That's also the day of packet pick up at TerraLoco, 4:40-7 PM.

The first race of the day is the Kids 1K Run at 8:45 AM. The 10K kicks off at 9 AM, and the 5K and 2-Mile at 9:20.

After the race is when the party starts! Loud Mouth Brass will be performing, there will be food trucks, and obviously, you have to stick around for a beer. Plus, the top finishers of the timed races will win prizes.

It's going to be tons of fun, don't miss it! I'll see you there!
