We live in a world where the good people get punished and the guilty run free.  Brace yourself, as you're not going to believe WHY they were suspended...

Two volunteer firefighters from Virginia have been suspended after they had to transport an 18 month old child to the local hospital... in their fire engine.

They were the first two responders to arrive after the young girl had had a seizure in a McDonald's parking lot and was in need of immediate care.  So the two fire fighters did what anyone in their position would do, and acted to save the girl's life!

She was put on oxygen in the fire engine and was delivered to the hospital's trauma room within 13 minutes of the time the call came in.  Her father reported that his daughter initially had paralysis on the entire left side of her body, but is expected to just to be just fine.

Thanks to those two men, a little girl's life was saved.  Regardless of protocol, it's a shame they had to be suspended for  making a split second decision and acting in the best interest of the girl... just a shame.
