Mankato, MN (Learfield Sports) – The Vikings arrive in Mankato for training camp today, focused on improving last season’s 7-9 record.

It’s the second campaign for head coach Mike Zimmer. He says the team started well last season and finished as a decent team, but there were at least four winnable games where they simply didn’t finish.

Zimmer says the 2015 Vikings have a lot of offensive weapons and, even though he’s defense-minded, he knows the potential as the work leading up to the season begins.

The team's first full workout will be Sunday.
