Violent Collision at Rural Intersection Near Rochester

Rochester, MN (KROC-AM News) - The State Patrol and Olmsted County Deputies responded this morning to an injury crash at a rural intersection a few miles south of Rochester.

The State Patrol is reporting a 69-year-old Rochester woman was driving an SUV west on Highway 30 when a northbound Jeep driven by a 29-year-old Spring Valley woman went through a stop sign on Olmsted County Road 1 and the two vehicles collided at the intersection 4 miles east of Stewartville and just south of Pleasant Grove around 7 AM.

Both vehicles ended up in the ditch along Highway 30. The names of the two drivers and Information about the extent of the injuries have not been released.
