Warby Parker Opens New Location at the Apache Mall

Just spotted: A new store at the Apache Mall in Rochester has opened! The eyewear company, Warby Parker, has opened inside the Apache Mall.

Their official opening date is coming up in just a few days, but I spotted them open already today.

Warby Parker Location Opens in Rochester, MN

Warby Parker was born when one of the founders lost his glasses on a backpacking trip while he was a student in grad school. But he couldn't afford new glasses because they were too expensive.

They created Warby Parker to give people affordable eyewear that are still good quality and a look good, too. (They also do contacts and sunglasses.)

Their location in Rochester is their 9th location across all of Minnesota.

Like I said, I popped by the mall today and saw that they were already open with people shopping for new glasses. However, they have an official opening day/celebration coming up this weekend, on Saturday, August 15th.

Also Coming to the Apache Mall

A few other things that I saw are coming soon to the Apache Mall:

• Hollister is getting an overhaul, so while they're completely closed right now, they plan to open again soon after the big remodel.
• Sky Zone is coming soon to the old Herberger's location. The last I heard they hope to open before the end of the year.
• A huge indoor playground called Kidstruction is opening in the old H&M location. They are hoping to open in November or December but as of now, no official date has been set.
