There's a rumor that Disney may retire the Princess Leia "Slave Girl" costume. What does Princess Leia herself have to say about that?

There's a rumor that Disney may retire the Princess Leia Slave Girl Costume. Marvel Comics artist J. Scott Campbell posted on Facebook that Disney was going to "wipe out" the Slave Girl Outfit from future use. He later backpedaled on his comment, saying that he kinda didn't know what he was talking about. Disney owns both Star Wars and Marvel Comics.

According to Fox News, the costume is considered "sexist and inappropriate".

Princess Leia, actress Carrie Fisher, has been around promoting Star Wars: The Force Awakens - in theaters THIS FRIDAY!!! - and she told The Wall Street Journal that retiring the costume is "stupid".

Carrie Fisher said, "Tell them a giant slug captured me and forced me to wear that stupid outfit, and then I killed him."
