Is your dad grumpy all the time? Here's why.

My dad had a great sense of humor. He loved a good joke. But there were things that just lit his fuse. Like if one of us got up and left the room and didn't turn the light off. Your dad is probably like that, too. A new survey has found that a quarter of dads are grumpy all the time. 73% say they're not there yet, but are getting there. If you're a dad, you're most like to be grumpy by age 39 and stay that way.

Dads were asked to list the things that set them off. Here are the top five:

5) Telemarketers calling during dinner.

4) Bad manners. Apparently, burping the alphabet at the dinner table is not a good idea.

3) Bad drivers.

2) Traffic jams.

1) People leaving lights on. And when says "people", he means all y'all.

So how does dad get over road-rage and handle anger management issues? More than half of fathers asked said all it takes is a good night's sleep! 27% said the way to increased happiness is through dad's tummy.

The best time to catch Dad at his best is on a holiday, or evenings and weekends. So, hide all the notes from school until then.

What things set your dad off? Dad, what gets your blood boiling? Keep it family friendly, but feel free to vent in the comments.
