You've probably heard the saying, "there's a reason for the season."  That reason varies depending on who you ask.

"Christianity Daily," a small Korean newspaper(?) out of LA, conducted a survey asking, "what's the first thing you think of when you hear the 'Christmas'?"

33% said Christmas songs and carols

22% said Santa and presents

21% said parties and gatherings

And only 17% said Jesus.

It didn't get much better for Jesus when they asked, "what's the meaning of Christmas?"

50% said it's time with family and friends

24% said it's a time to help those in need

18% said it's a worldwide celebration

only 8% said the birth of Jesus.

Church as a whole got only slightly more love with 22% saying they go to church on Christmas day.
