Hopefully, the snowstorm that's predicted for this weekend is the last one we'll have to deal with this year. I think most are ready for warm Spring weather.

A Winter Storm Watch is now in effect from Friday evening through Saturday morning. The National Weather Service says heavy snow is possible. Total snow accumulations will range from 4 to8 inches. The heaviest snow is expected west of Rochester.

So how much snow are we expected to get in Rochester? Weatherology.com is forecasting close to 4 inches on Friday night with one additional inch Saturday morning. Meanwhile, The Weather Channel is predicting even snowfall amounts on Friday night and Saturday. Their forecast calls for 1-3 inches Friday night with another 1-3 inches possible Saturday morning.

Travel will be very difficult. The roads will be bad and visibility will be significantly reduced. Continue to monitor the forecast and plan accordingly.
