Winter Storm Watch Issued for SE Minnesota,Parts of Iowa and Wisc
La Crosse, WI (KROC AM News) - The National Weather Service has issued a winter storm watch that covers the I-90 corridor in southern Minnesota, including the Rochester area.
The NWS says an approaching winter storm is expected to produce heavy snow " from late Saturday night through Sunday. Accumulations of 6 or more inches are possible. Currently, the higher amounts look more likely in the Interstate 90 corridor with much of that falling in the morning."

SUNDAY AFTERNOON...
* WHAT...Snow. Brief period of wintry mix possible. Snow
accumulations of 4 to 7 inches and ice accumulations of a light
glaze possible.
* WHERE...Portions of north central and northeast Iowa and
southeast Minnesota.
* WHEN...From late Saturday night through Sunday afternoon.
* IMPACTS...Travel could be very difficult.
